Sofie Rolfsdotter lives in the South of Sweden in a small town called Skurup with her husband and two children. Sofie has always enjoyed creative pastimes including crochet, knitting, DIY and scrapbooking but she didn’t draw or paint until in her 30´s. When she moved into a new apartment, but couldn’t afford to buy new artwork, Sofie was motivated to make some of her own using the surrounding nature as inspiration. “I live in Sweden where it's dark, windy and cold and very bare on the bushes and trees half of the year, so I find that I draw a whole lot more nature inspired images in the spring and summer time, and more abstract/typography designs in the fall and winter.”
